VGP – Corruption combat must be at the forefront
with higher determination and effectiveness, top leader has demanded.

Speaking at the 17th sesssion of the Central
Steering Committee for Ati-Corrution on Wednesday, Party General Secretary,
State President Nguyen Phu Trong called further improvement of insitutions
relevant to economic management and corruption control.
He tasked inferior levels to continue mulling over
key guidelines and orientations on anti-corruption and include them in the
draft documents which will be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress.
The Central Steering Committee was asked to continue
stepping up inspection in sensitive areas and handling serious corruption.
Since 2016, more than 90 high-ranking officials have
been disciplined, including two Politburo members, 21 Party Central
Committee members, and 22 police and army generals, report shows./.
